Defeated monsters will be in a state where they can be friends with a certain probability.
If you investigate the monster in that state, an etch scene will occur, and after the end, the monster will become a friend.

Also, if you operate a monster that you have made friends with and examine a specific object, an etch scene will occur and the monster will become stronger.
